The Solution: we do this!
Bye plastic, hello compostable!
In an effort to reduce waste and protect the environment in our beautiful Puerto Rico, we are switching to 100% compostable meal containers starting next week!
These bowls compost in 2-4 months in a commercial composting facility and are made from materials that follow the cycle of life on Earth: beginning and ending as nutrient–rich soil.
FYI: The little 2oz side containers (the ones with honey on your pancakes or sauce on your meals) will be switched to 100% compostable as well, as soon as we finish all the plastic ones we got on inventory… 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
